Pioneering Excellence in Pathology: Dr. Prem Madan’s Enduring Legacy
With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Prem Madan has established himself as a towering figure in the field of pathology in Ahmedabad. His journey towards excellence began at B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, where he earned his M.B.B.S. degree in 1985. Fuelled by an unyielding passion for understanding the intricacies of disease pathology, he pursued further studies and obtained his M.D. in Pathology and Bacteriology from the esteemed Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI), securing the second position in Gujarat University in 1989.
Dr. Madan’s academic achievements paved the way for a distinguished career, which saw him serving as an Assistant Professor of Pathology at GCRI until May 1993. However, it was his visionary dream of transforming the landscape of histopathology in Ahmedabad that propelled him towards entrepreneurship.
In 1993, armed with a vision and a promise to redefine histopathology, Dr. Madan founded Sukoon Pathology Laboratory in Ahmedabad. From its inception, Sukoon Pathology Laboratory emerged as a beacon of reliability, precision, and excellence under his leadership. Dr. Madan’s commitment to delivering the highest quality of service is evident in every aspect of Sukoon Pathology’s operations.
Not content with conventional practices, Dr. Madan ventured into frozen section tissue analysis, further solidifying his reputation as an innovator in the field. His dedication and expertise led to the processing and reporting of over one lakh tissue biopsies to date, a testament to his unwavering commitment to patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
